	The World’s Fastest L-29 Our Viper powered L-29 raced at Reno for the first time in 2007, setting a then absolute course record of 517 mph. In 2008, Curt Brown, former Space Shuttle Commander, qualified The Viper to Reno’s FIRST OFFICIAL 500 mph Gold Race, Clocking in with a WINNING SPEED OF 507 mph! Serial No: 2405 Reg No: N29AD Mike Mangold, the 2007 Red Bull Racing Series World Champion, piloting a second Viper prepared by Dave Canavo and Aero Enterprises Inc. took 2nd at 499 mph.
