Since 2005, Delaware Warbirds Racing has proudly been racing and setting records at the Reno National Air Races with Pipsqueak, the world’s fastest L39 and the Jet Class Champion in 2005 and 2006 and Viper the world’s fastest L29 and the Jet Class Champion in 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2021. In 2012 we introduced Jet 6, Sluggo, a stock L-29 that enabled us to field an entry slow enough to satisfy race offiials.
In 2021, after an 11 year absence, the Viper was re-instated, and continued its winning streak to four, as it quickly re-established its dominance at Reno.
